I am so please that Mayor Stephanie Miner and her cronies in Syracuse New York, are so forward thinking when it comes to business. After all, they believe you win a no win scenario and when it comes to the Destiny USA project, they are going to try.

Have they even realized yet that sooner or later they will beat this project into the ground (secretly what they are hoping for) and leave the city and surrounding areas with a job vacuum? Why do people support these types of low-browed self serving politicians that haven’t a clue about the real world in which WE live? When Destiny is beaten we will someone that is personally protected bankrupt the project and go home, leaving the people to try and make up the difference. They seem to think this is all about property taxes, when instead, it is about keeping jobs, income and non-welfare families in Central New York. Oh wait, Miner and crew are politicians not businesspeople and they believe that they can't control free thinking, intelligent and solvent people, but they can control a population when the majority is supported by them through welfare and other government assistance. now it makes more sense, they want everyone in Syracuse on welfare and the city bankrupt, this way they can take very little blame for their own extremely poor decisions by blaming the populous and those that support their decisions are the ill-educated masses that they control.

The effects of not continuing the Destiny project, no matter how long it takes, would be catastrophic to the Central New York area. Loss of jobs will be in the thousands, income to the area would plummet and we would become just another 'Flint, Michigan'. It only takes an educated eye to see that the owner of this project really has no real stake in this anymore and that they could go belly-up and personally lose almost nothing, simply retire and leave the area completely devastated by closing their doors. Remember, this means all of their doors and not just Destiny, while keeping their personal lives intact to retire or even start again somewhere else that is less Narrow-minded and bent on destroy about the only real future this area has left, tourism.

Instead of fighting it, they should be helping to work with the project, when all of the dollars coming in from tourist would astronomically outweigh any monies collected from taxes, but I forget that the Miner crew only considers the here and now and have never cared about any long-term or lasting effects, which is completely evident in anything they have attempted so far.

Get you heads out of your Ass and deal with this people, prove to them that you are not the frightened little minds that they have scared and brain-washed you into thinking that you are, SPEAK OUT! Tell your elected officials how you feel any way that you can! If you don't support this type of project, please move away, Syracuse doesn't need or want you here.
